EBSARY foundation company, a 4th generation family business uses unique construction methods to solve complex construction problems. The Company began operations in 1922 and was incorporated in 1930. In 1976, Richard W. Ebsary, grandson of the original founder of the business, took over management of the business. In 1995, Richard's nephew, Scott Alfele joined the Company as the fourth generation Ebsary to be involved in the Company. For more information on the Company's distinguished history click here.
Currently, the Company specializes in 4 main construction areas:
Foundation
Systems
Utility Services
Marine Construction
Other Construction

Throughout the Company's history, the core business has been the installation of foundation systems. The Company installs many different types of piling and currently the primary foundation installed is the auger cast pile. These foundations have supported many of the landmark buildings and structures in the South Florida landscape. Many hotels and condominiums on Miami Beach and Key Biscayne are anchored by Ebsary piling. The Alhambra and Columbus Center office buildings in Coral Gables, FL and the Courthouse Tower in downtown Miami, FL are notable examples. Other notable foundation projects include the piling for The Limited store at Dadeland Shopping Center in south Miami - Dade County, FL. The Company also installed a complex foundation for the Neiman Marcus store on Palm Beach. For more information on foundation systems, click here.

The Company is located on the Miami River with easy access to Biscayne Bay and the intracoastal waterway. With this access, we are able to respond rapidly to an emergency underwater cable break. Ebsary has the floating equipment and the knowledge to solve the problem with a minimum of downtime. For more information on utility services, click here.

Since 1922, the Company has been constructing marine structures such as seawalls, marinas and bulkheads. In 1933, the Company built the original Pan American Airways bulkhead and seaplane ramp in Coconut Grove, FL (click here for picture). This ramp allowed Pan Am's Clipper ship airplanes to come out of the water for passenger loading and servicing of the aircraft in the hangar. Parts of this original Pan American facility is still in existence today. This commitment to quality is the same today as it was in 1933. The Company Miami was the hub for Pan Am's flight service to South America and the Caribbean. Ebsary Foundation Co.'s history parallels the events of South Florida Ebsary Foundation buoys and many other doing blah blah blah .........
